Applications Open for TICO Board; AGM Set for September 25

TICO has added new resources to its Registrant Toolkit.

The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) Board of Directors is now accepting applications from experienced leaders within and outside the travel industry for two positions on the board.

The two positions are:

  • An Industry Director (who is involved in the travel industry); and
  • A Public Director(who has no direct personal or business interest in the travel industry).

The application deadline is Monday, June 30, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. There is a two-step application process to apply:

  1. Complete the online application form; and
  2. Email your CV to boardapplications@tico.ca.

TICO must receive both your completed application and emailed CV prior to the deadline for your application to be considered.

TICO is governed by a nine-member board, made up of three members elected from the travel industry, three from the general public, and three appointed by the Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement.

The board is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s mandate is carried out effectively and efficiently on behalf of Ontarians. In addition, the board shapes TICO’s strategic direction, provides financial oversight, supports outreach and advocacy, and serves as an ambassador for TICO and its mission.

Also, TICO will be hosting their AGM 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025.  For more details click here.
