Riviera Travel today announced a new ship set to debut in 2027 that will sail the iconic Mekong River in Southeast Asia: Riviera Alba.
The new ship promises a premium experience: the design features 25 suites for a capacity of 50 guests, with a high crew-to-guest ratio to ensure personalized service. Onboard amenities include a main restaurant (serving both international and Asian cuisine), a lounge bar, spa, library, coffee and tea lounge, and complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as a jacuzzi and pool on the sun deck.
Riviera Alba launches in fall 2027 with the new 14-day Vietnam, Cambodia, and Mekong River Cruise, which marks the travel company’s debut in Asia. The itinerary’s highlights include Cambodia’s vibrant capital, Phnom Penh, temples in Angkor, and the Cambodian Phare Circus.
Bookings for Riviera’s 2027 departures are now open, including the recently announced dedicated solo itineraries: Budapest to the Black Sea and Cruise the Heart of Europe (Rhine, Main & Danube).
“Riviera Travel has always been rooted in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, providing unmatched service and endless opportunities for discovery, so this is a natural evolution for us,” said Stuart Milan, president of North America for Riviera Travel. “Our expansion to the Mekong brings our personal, award-winning approach to one of the world’s most enchanting rivers.”
