Onvigo Celebrates “Advisor-Driven Progress” at 2nd-Annual Gala
by Bruce Parkinson
Onvigo plans to focus on supplier partnerships in 2026.
Independent Travel Advisors from across Canada gathered on December 3 for Onvigo’s second annual Advisor Gala, an event celebrating “action, community strength, and a year defined by advisor-driven progress.”
The company says this year’s theme, TWO-GETHER, reflected a simple truth — when advisors move forward, the entire community follows. The Gala was designed to recognize the people whose daily decisions, client care, and business focus continue to shape Onvigo’s future.
“Agents First is not a tagline, it’s our foundation,” said said Shean Carmichael, Director of Host Agency Operations.
Here’s how Onvigo described the event: “At 7:00 PM EST, the virtual room came alive. Cameras turned on. Advisors showed up in gala attire, travel-inspired looks, and wide smiles. The #OnvigoGala2025 Selfie Challenge carried that energy across social feeds and reminded everyone that community creates confidence.

A key moment of the night was the presentation of the 2025 Advisor Awards. These awards honoured advisors who turned intention into action and action into results. Winners showed how steady effort builds trust, drives bookings, and strengthens the role of independent advisors in Canada.”
Award categories included:
• Onvigo-getters
• Top Cruise Advisor
• Top Guided Tour Advisor
• Top Sun Advisor
• Up and Comer ITA
• Most Improved Advisor
• Community Superstar
• Marketing Superstar
“A goal without a plan is just a wish, and our community deserves more than wishes,” said Carmichael. “Advisors who step into 2026 with clarity and a solid strategy will create the momentum that moves the whole network forward. Community creates confidence, and confidence fuels results.”
Looking ahead, Onvigo says it is strengthening the foundation that helps advisors grow year over year. A major focus in 2026 will be the expansion of the Partnership Program. Onvigo is building long-term relationships with suppliers who understand what independent advisors need to compete, win trust, and secure more bookings.
The host agency says these partnerships will bring stronger education; more opportunities, and practical support advisors can rely on.
Carmichael concluded: “The purpose is clear. Give every advisor access to the tools and collaboration that lead to higher conversions and confident client relationships. The advisors who engage with this support will set the pace for the travel industry in 2026.”
