TRAVELSAVERS Celebrates Milestones at 2025 Travel Market Conference

Participants at the Travel Market 2025 Conference.

There’s lots to celebrate at Travel Market 2025, the premier global conference for advisors and preferred partners affiliated with the TRAVELSAVERS and NEST family.

TRAVELSAVERS is celebrating 55 years in the U.S. and 25 years in Canada during the gathering of about 1,000 advisors and suppliers at the Hyatt Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando.

Not only that, the Affluent Traveler Collection — an exclusive marketing group for TRAVELSAVERS luxury travel specialists, preferred travel suppliers and destinations – is also celebrating 25 years.

Finally, NEST — the Network of Entrepreneurs Selling Travel — the first and only travel marketing group in the United States dedicated solely to home-based travel agencies – is celebrating 20 years.

After 55 years, TRAVELSAVERS continues to attract new members and significant sales growth. There were 103 new agency members in 2024, bringing $279 million in new sales. For 2025 to date, 47 new members have brought an additional $195 million in sales revenue to the organization.

Suppliers are pleased with both the quantity and quality of advisors at the event.

Meg Murgatroyd, Head of Trade Sales for solo specialist Just You, North America, had this to say:

“I have met a lot of great engaged advisors today. The first person I met said, ‘You sell solo travel and I want to talk to you.’ So they’re engaged, they’re listening, they’re leaning in. They’re taking notes, they’re taking pictures of the screen, they want to learn. I’ve met a lot of super people and I can’t wait for this afternoon’s trade show so I can talk to people one-on-one.”

Collette Canada VP Ron Lonsdale.

“This is an event we look forward to coming to annually,” said Ron Lonsdale, VP for Collette Canada. “Just the vibe, the synergy, they’re very engaged, both the advisors and the owners. And when it comes to them supporting their preferreds, they’re just phenomenal. Being here is a great investment with a tremendous return for both the advisors and ourselves.”

Key categories include Guided Travel, Sun Vacations, Cruise and FIT. In 2024, ocean cruise was a major growth category in both the United States and Canada, with sales up 16% and 13% respectively.

Guided vacations were up 11% in the U.S. in 2024, just 2% in Canada, This year, the tables have turned, with guided vacation sales up 18% in Canada and 6% in the U.S. River cruising is red hot south of the border, with TRAVELSAVERS U.S. sales up 15% in 2024 and 18% this year, versus 1% in Canada last year and 7% thus far in 2025. Solo travel is a fast-growing market, with Google searches soaring by 300%.

Other content highlights at the Travel Market 2025 conference, which is themed ‘Connected,’ include the new marketing platform AI Connect Powered by Toby. AI Connect is an all-in-one marketing portal, blending TRAVELSAVERS exclusive supplier offers with the powerful insights of Toby, expertly trained in travel.
