Riviera Travel will add a fourth Radiance Class ship to its river cruise fleet in April 2028. The Riviera Rhapsody will debut on the Dutch Waterways before repositioning to the Rhine River in the summer.

“Riviera Rhapsody represents an exciting expansion of our Radiance Class fleet and our continued investment in the North American market,” said Stuart Milan, president of North America for Riviera Travel. “Her name reflects a spirited and expressive sense of travel, capturing the emotional connection and sense of discovery that define Riviera Travel’s European river cruise experiences. As demand continues to grow among North American travelers for elevated river cruising, this new ship delivers the modern design, comfort, and immersive itineraries they’re looking for.”

Designed as part of Riviera Travel’s modern Radiance Class fleet, Riviera Rhapsody will join sister ships Riviera Radiance, Riviera Resplendence, and Riviera Reflection. Like its sister ships, Riviera Rhapsody will feature Riviera Travel’s signature contemporary, light-filled design, defined by open spaces, high ceilings, and a split-level architectural layout that creates an airy, residential feel. A dramatic two-story lounge and main restaurant anchor the ship’s social spaces, while floor-to-ceiling French balconies in the majority of cabins further enhance the sense of openness and connection to the passing scenery.

Riviera Rhapsody will also feature three onboard restaurants including the main restaurant on the Ruby Deck; the Riverview Bistro at the back of the Diamond Deck, featuring an open kitchen, panoramic windows, and al fresco seating; and Mosaic, a contemporary tapas-style venue located on the Emerald Deck. The introduction of three separate dining venues reflects Riviera Travel’s continued focus on culinary variety and elevated guest choice onboard.

Accommodations will be span 89 cabins across three decks. Grand Suites on the Diamond Deck feature approximately 344 square feet and include a separate living area, king-size bed, and private balcony with outdoor seating. Superior Suites offer 258 square feet of space with floor-to-ceiling French balconies and a dedicated sitting area, while standard staterooms measure approximately 172 square feet and feature French balconies and well-appointed indoor seating areas.

Riviera Rhapsody will debut on April 1, 2028, beginning with the Bruges, Medieval Flanders, Amsterdam & The Dutch Bulbfields itinerary along the Dutch Waterways. Come summer, Riviera Rhapsody will reposition to the Rhine River, where it will sail a range of Riviera’s most popular river cruise itineraries, including Rhine Cruise to Switzerland.
