by Marsha Mowers  March 18, 2026
TICO Issues Immediate Suspension for Flyswatt Inc.

TICO has announced the new members of its industry and consumer councils.

The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) has issued an Immediate Temporary Suspension Order to suspend the registration of Flyswatt Inc. and must cease all travel sales and counselling activity immediately.

TICO has also issued a Notice of Proposal to revoke the registration of Flyswatt Inc. which is based in Mississauga, ON.

It is alleged that Flyswatt Inc. has not been financially responsible in the conduct of its business, while carrying on activities in contravention of the Travel Industry Act, 2002 (the Act), and there are reasons to believe that Flyswatt Inc. will not conduct business in accordance with the law, and with integrity and honesty as per section 8 of the Act.

Flyswatt Inc. is entitled to a hearing by the Licence Appeal Tribunal about this Proposal to revoke its registration.
