Aman at Sea announced today two developments as it prepares to launch its ultra-luxury motor yacht: the opening of private charter and event reservations, and the addition of Angela Composto on the executive leadership team.
Aman at Sea’s first yacht, named Amangati, will launch in the Mediterranean during the 2027 summer season. The 600-foot luxury vessel will include 47 suites, accommodating up to 94 guests, as well as four international dining concepts, a Jazz Club, Aman Spa, and a Beach Club. The Amangati is currently under construction at T. Mariotti in Genoa.
Now, the hotly anticipated Amangati is accepting private charter reservations. Aman at Sea will begin taking reservations for its inaugural Mediterranean sailings later this year.
Aman at Sea also named Composto as its senior vice president, sales, marketing & reservations. Composto brings to the role over two decades of experience in the travel industry, having served in leadership roles at major cruise and luxury brands like The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, American Queen Voyages, and Orient Express Sailing Yachts.
TMR reported Angela Composto’s departure from Orient Express Sailing Yachts earlier this month.
“Over the past 25 years working in luxury hospitality, I have strived to gain a strong strategic vision and the ability to anticipate industry trends, which has led to the launch of several successful global brands,” Composto said in a statement. “Now, I am honored to apply this experience at Aman at Sea and look forward to introducing the Aman brand’s deeply rooted values and exceptional reputation to the world’s oceans for the very first time.”
