Atlas Ocean Voyages unveiled the full offering of suites onboard Atlas Adventurer, the world’s first ice-class luxury sailing yacht, set to debut in November 2028. The 400-passenger all-suite vessel will feature 200 suites, divided into three categories: Signature, Concierge, and Reserve.
Each category offers increasing levels of space and personalization, along with a choice of one to three amenities depending on category.
“Everything will be slightly bigger. Comfort we have already in our vessels today. Design, we have a beautiful design, but we ae upgrading in terms of size,” said Mario Ferreira, chairman of Mystic Invest Holding, the parent company of Atlas Ocean Voyages, at a press conference at last week’s Seatrade Cruise Global conference.

At the top tier, the 30 Reserve Collection suites include 28 565-square-foot Penthouse Suites and two 1,385-square-foot, two-bedroom Owner’s Suites. Select Penthouse Suites offer the option to connect with an adjoining Veranda Suite, creating a multi-room residence ideal for families.

The remaining suites are divided between the 98 Signature Collection and 72 Concierge Collection suites. These include the Deluxe Concierge Veranda (375 square feet), Concierge Veranda (290 square feet), Concierge Panorama Ocean (290 square feet), Veranda (290 square feet), and Panorama Ocean (290 square feet) suites with floor-to-ceiling windows.
At the time of booking, guests in Signature Suites can choose one of the following: an air credit, one-night pre-hotel stay, or an enhanced Wi-Fi packages. Guests staying in Concierge Suites an pick two and guests staying in a Reserve Collection suite get all three amenities.

Designed by Portuguese studio Oitoemponto, the suite design is inspired by the golden age of travel, reflecting the spirit of 1930s liners “through proportion, artistry, and quiet opulence.” Materials include polished marble, high-gloss mahogany, and hard-finished metals, while furnishings reference the sculptural discipline of Art Deco without imitation.
“Atlas Adventurer represents a pivotal step forward for our brand and for expedition travel,” said James A. Rodriguez, president and CEO of Atlas Ocean Voyages. “Our continued collaboration with Oitoemponto allows us to create an experience that balances the heritage of ocean travel with the expectations of today’s guest, intimate in scale, advanced in design, and grounded in environmental responsibility.”
Other features of the ship will include a floating marina with net-protected swimming pool to keep jellyfish out, a burger bar on the top deck, three Jacuzzis, a main restaurant, large spa, and an Observation Lounge with a glass domed ceiling so guests can see the stars.
Purpose-built for responsible exploration, Atlas Adventurer features a triple-masted carbon-fiber rig, enabling wind propulsion of up to 12 to 14 knots without the engines. Dual-fuel engines, an electric-hybrid propulsion system, and a 9-megawatt marine battery support silent, low-emission cruising, delivering a sail-assisted experience designed for minimal environmental impact.
Engineered for both comfort and capability, the yacht is equipped with zero-speed fin stabilizers and dual vertical stabilizers, ensuring exceptional stability at anchor and at sea. As part of the Atlas-class fleet, it will sail under the flag of Portugal and feature an Ice Class 1B (Polar Category C) hull, enabling access to remote polar regions.
Reservations for Atlas Adventurer are already open to past Atlas guests and will open to the general public on June 10, 2026.
