Celestyal has named Lisa McManus as its new regional partner manager for the central region of the U.S. Simultaneously, the cruise line realigned key members of its sales team and expanded the roles of Scott Moore and Elena Rodriguez, who both now have the title of director of partnerships, North America.
Moore and Rodriguez will each directly manage national accounts, while also overseeing a team of regional partner managers. Aligning these areas under these senior sales leaders will help Celestyal cultivate stronger strategic partnerships and provide high-level support to the regional managers in North America, the cruise line said.
McManus joins in a new role dedicated to expanding North American sales support. She will ensure travel partners receive timely, proactive, and dedicated assistance as the North American business continues to grow.
“These structural and staffing enhancements demonstrate our ongoing investment in the North American market and commitment to providing unparalleled support and resources to our travel partners,” said John Diorio, managing director and vice president of business development for North America.
Moore joined Celestyal in 2024 after spending many years in sales and development at several top travel companies including American Queen Voyages, Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours and Emerald Cruises, and the The Walt Disney Company. Prior to his new role he focused on national accounts. He is based in Charlotte, NC.
Rodriguez also joined Celestyal in 2024 after spending more than 20 years at Princess Cruises in sales. Prior to this new role she oversaw the field teams at Celestyal, working with the BDMs as well as National Accounts. She is based in Texas.
McManus has more than 20 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry. She began her career in the hotel industry, serving in leadership roles as both a director of sales and general manager before joining HelmsBriscoe as an account manager, where she specialized in hotel sourcing and meetings. She later became a successful travel advisor and mentor, helping both clients and fellow advisors grow their travel businesses. She then served as BDM for the Israel Ministry of Tourism, where she worked closely with travel advisors, tour operators, host agencies, and industry partners throughout the Midwest to promote tourism to Israel. She is based in Illinois.
