If it wasn’t already abundantly clear, MSC Group – parent company of both MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys – is firmly committed to carving out a place for itself in the North American market. As part of that commitment, on Jan. 26 the company opened a brand-new $100 million 130,000-square-foot Cruise Division headquarters in downtown Miami.
The headquarters, which launches a “new chapter” for MSC Group’s presence in North America, will bring more than 400 team members from sevearl MSC Group divisions together under one roof.
“Our new North American Cruise Division headquarters reflects the scale of our ambitions for both MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys,” said Rubén A. Rodríguez, CEO of MSC Group’s North America Cruise Division. “By bringing our teams together under one roof, we are creating an environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and shared purpose as we continue expanding our footprint, deploying more ships, welcoming more guests and strengthening our presence across U.S. homeports.”
The ribbon cutting ceremony brought together elected officials, including Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and City of Miami Mayor Eileen Higgins, along with executive chairman of MSC Group’s Cruise Division Pierfrancesco Vago, MSC Group.
