Oceania Cruises’ Newest Ship, Vista, to Offer 12 Dining Experiences

Oceania Cruises revealed a whopping 12 restaurants and dining experiences aboard its newest ship, Vista, set to debut in early 2023. Of the twelve, four are brand new and exclusive to Vista.
“We have never been content to rest on our laurels, so even the expected has become the unexpected. A dramatic re-inspiration of every dining space from décor to table setting to menu offerings has resulted in a new pinnacle of diversity and creativity for our guests to enjoy,” Bob Binder, president and CEO of Oceania Cruises, said in a statement.
Ember will be a brand-new concept to Oceania Cruises’ family of restaurants, open for lunch and dinner. It will feature a menu of inventive American creations blended with classics, such as braised short ribs on polenta, crab cakes with spicy aioli, and a Cobb salad with smoked chicken.
Another new addition, Aquamar Kitchen will focus on lighter fare and healthy selections, with breakfast offering cold-pressed raw juices and super-food smoothies, hearty homemade granolas and avocado toasts. For lunch, dishes include slow-roasted organic salmon with quinoa tabouleh and lemon tahini and Yellowfin tacos with white cabbage slaw.
Other new restaurants aboard include Bakery at Baristas, which does French and Italian pastries served alongside Illy espresso drinks, and a Culinary Center Dining Room that’s attached to a venue for hands-on cooking demonstrations.
For a leisurely dining experience, guests can go to the Grand Dining Room, where menus change daily with an expansive choice of at least 10 appetizers, soups and salads and 10 dinner entrées, along with healthy options such as Aquamar Vitality Cuisine.
Black jacketed servers at Polo Grill will provide a classic steakhouse experience, with menu offerings of 28-day dry aged certified Black Angus USDA Prime and fresh seafood.
Toscana presents an evolution of Tuscan cuisine in a truly Italian setting of rich Chianina leather, hand-blown Venetian glass and Carrara marble.
“Pan-Asian dishes” at a venue called Red Ginger, which will be familiar to past Oceania guests. A private dining room that accommodates up to 10 guests — aptly named Priveé — will be available for intimate events.
Vista’s inaugural season itineraries will open for viewing on September 9, 2021, and go on sale the following week, on September 15, 2021.
