Riviera River Cruises is celebrating the announcement of a new ship on the Douro River with a booking incentive for travel advisors.

Advisors who make new bookings for five cabins (double occupancy) on 2024 departures of the MS Porto Mirante through the end of November 2023 will be entered into a drawing for a complimentary cabin onboard the ship for any 2024 sailing and a $2,000 airfare credit.

“We’re excited to be launching a new ship and new itinerary on the Douro River next year and want to share the excitement with our travel partners,” said Marilyn Conroy, executive vice president of sales and marketing, North America for Riviera River Cruises.

The 118-passenger Porto Mirante will sail 10 departures of the line’s new Highlights of the Douro Valley and Salamanca itinerary starting from July of next year and through October. The ship will feature 59 172-square-feet cabins (some with French balcony), an atrium bar and lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows, restaurant, fitness center, and sun deck with lounge, bar, and splash pool.

The drawing for the free cruise will be held in early December.
