Tauck is expanding its small ship cruise portfolio for 2027 with the addition of a new Baltic Sea itinerary, along with enhancements to returning guest favorite itineraries in the Galapagos, and additional capacity in the Aegean and Iberia. In all, Tauck will offer 22 small ship cruises in 2027—including two Tauck Bridges itineraries designed for families—and will open reservations in March.
“Our small ship cruises continue to resonate with guests because they combine distinctive itinerary design, meaningful cultural access and a level of care that removes the complexity from travel,” said Tauck CEO Jennifer Tombaugh. “For 2027, we’re building on that foundation—introducing a long- anticipated new Baltic Sea itinerary while continuing to refine and enhance our most popular journeys.”
The new 12-day Cruising the Baltic Sea itinerary features several stops in Northern Europe’s Baltic region onboard PONANT’s Le Champlain. Port of calls include Stockholm, Helsinki, Tallinn, Wismar, Gdansk, Copenhagen, and the island of Visby.
Highlights of the port calls include a Tauck-exclusive special dinner at Stockholm’s Vasa Museum and shore excursion visits to sites such as Estonia’s Memorial to the Victims of Communism, Poland’s European Solidarity Center, and the UNESCO-listed old towns of Visby and Lubeck.
Strong early demand has the itinerary already close to selling out.
Expanded Departures, Enhancements to Popular Itineraries
With the demand rising for Mediterranean itineraries, Tauck is expanding departures on two of its most popular journeys.
First, Tauck is extending the season for its 14-day Aegean Voyage: Athens to Istanbul itinerary, adding two more departures to the 2027 lineup running from April to October. The journey includes a two-night stay at Athens’ Hotel Grande Bretagne and three nights at the InterContinental Istanbul, along with an eight-night cruise onboard Windstar’s 312-passenger Star Legend.
Similarly, Tauck is adding two more departures to its offering of 13-day Treasures of Spain and Portugal itinerary. The company is also adding select departures onboard Windstar’s Star Legend complementing sailings traditionally operated on Windstar’s 342-passenger Wind Surf. The journey includes two-night stays at both the InterContinental Lisbon and the Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona, with an eight-night cruise between the two cities.
Additionally, one of the company’s most popular journeys, Hidden Galapagos & Peru, returns in 2027 with a series of enhancements. Most significantly, all on-tour flights will be operated as full private charters and guests will embark the expedition cruise portion of the trip from Quito, where they’ll enjoy pre- and post-cruise stays at Casa Gangotena, a Relais & Châteaux property. In the Galapagos, guests sail onboard Silversea Cruises’ Silver Origin, an all-suite expedition ship carrying no more than 40 Tauck guests. On land, guests now stay at the InterContinental Real Lima in the upscale waterfront district of Miraflores, followed by a stay at Tambo del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Peru’s Sacred Valley, and at the JW Marriott Cusco, a restored 16th-century Augustinian convent built atop Incan ruins.
