Tauck has opened bookings for its 2027 North America portfolio, which includes two new itineraries: Yellowstone Awakens: Spring & Fall and Bryce & Zion: Sculpted by Time.
Tauck is no stranger to America’s national parks. The family-owned tour operator was founded in 1925, and first brought guests to Yellowstone in 1934. That original journey was a 7,000-mile journey by train and private coach, departing from Chicago’s World Fair. Today, Tauck’s tours visit 44 national parks and monuments, led by expert guides ranging from historians to naturalists.
The new domestic itineraries were designed to give travelers a deeper exploration of the parks, packaging distinctive accommodations, exclusive access, and expanded experiences. Both are small group journeys (maximum 24 travelers) with departures in spring and fall, which are the prime wildlife seasons.
Yellowstone Awakens: Spring & Fall is a six-day journey into the iconic Yellowstone National Park. Guests spend four nights inside the park at the historic Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel. Highlights include two safaris through Lamar Valley, behind-the-scenes cultural and wildlife experiences, and an evening workshop led by a Native American artist.
Bryce & Zion: Sculpted by Time is a seven-day tour of southern Utah’s canyons, exploring the popular Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks as well as the lesser-known Snow Canyon State Park and Kodachrome Basin. Accommodations have been carefully selected to keep guests centrally located, including Black Desert Resort near Snow Canyon, Hotel De Novo near Zion park, and Clear Sky Resorts near Bryce Canyon — the latter of which features glass domes for unobstructed views of the night sky.
The U.S.-focused itineraries are being added as America’s 250th shines a spotlight on the country. Already, Tauck is seeing increased demand for domestic travel. The 2027 North America presale is pacing 13% ahead of 2026 bookings.
National parks continue to drive interest in North American travel. Seventy-two percent of Tauck’s North America bookings in 2025 included visits to Canadian and U.S. national parks.
