Windstar’s Star Pride Reenters Service After Renovation
by Daniel McCarthyWindstar Cruises’ Star Pride is returning to the seas after a $4.5 million refurbishment that included rebuilt owner’s suites and 12 new triple suites.
The 212-guest yacht will now sail with owner’s suites sporting a private deck over the yacht’s bow, and new remodeled public spaces including the fitness center, library, screening rooms, and dining venues throughout the yacht.
The yacht will sail a new seven-day itinerary, Treasures of the Greek Isles, from Athens, with stops in Mykonos, Kusadasi, Santorini, and Monemvasia.
The Star Pride is the third of three renovations to Windstar’s fleet; the earlier ones were sister yachts Star Breeze and Star Legend. In total, Windstar has invested more than $221.5 million in refurbishing the three yachts over the past two years.
