Celebrity Campaign Declares “Modern Luxury Lives Here”

Celebrity Cruises is emphasizing luxury in a new ad campaign debuting this week. New TV spots call on cruisers to “answer the call of modern luxury” on Celebrity ships and feature clips of the amenities Celebrity ships offer. The campaign will roll out across digital and social media in the coming weeks.

The campaign reflects Celebrity’s mission to cater to cruisers seeking luxury and willing to spend a little more. At The New York Times Travel Show last week, Celebrity sales director Michelle Homoky said the cruise line is determined to distinguish itself as the one that caters to “highly affluent people who have a propensity to cruise.”

“We really want to go after the affluent,” she said, “someone who is going to spend money, someone who is going to buy a suite.”
