Hyatt Capitalizes on Olympics in Rio
A Grand Hyatt is slated to open in Rio De Janeiro early next year, just in time for the tens of thousands of tourists expected to attend the summer Olympic games there.
The five-star hotel will have 436 guestrooms, each with a balcony view of the Atlantic Ocean or the Marapendi Lagoon, plus three restaurants, a spa, and a fitness room. It will be located in the heart of the Barra da Tijuca, a short distance from famous neighborhoods as Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon.
The hotel is now accepting reservations for stays beginning March 1.
