Strikes Scheduled in Paris and Milan Tomorrow

A strike of Italy’s airport personnel union is expected to affect Milanese airports tomorrow. Both the Milano Malpensa Airport and the Milano Linate Airport likely will see slight disruptions throughout the day. Employees of Meridiana Airline also are expected to participate in the strike.

Meanwhile, in Paris, a number of major unions have called on employees of the city’s main rail operator to observe a strike action on Thursday. The strikes have been called to protest a lack of security on French trains. Regional and inter-city rail services are expected to experience disruptions throughout the day.
