Delta Air Lines announced it will be launching a new daily service from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to Tampa International Airport starting on Mar. 11, 2020.

The new Seattle-Tampa service is part of Delta’s plan to provide more options for Seattle travelers this winter and spring. The proposed route will be operated on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, featuring First Class, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin seating; free entertainment on seatback screens or a personal device through Delta Studio; WiFi for purchase; and power accessible from every seat.

“Tampa is another great addition to the more than 55 destinations we offer from Sea-Tac each year,” said Tony Gonchar, Delta’s vice president – Seattle. “Customers can enjoy Delta’s amazing seat-back in-flight entertainment and still get to Tampa in time for a sunset dinner.”

The Tampa Bay area is home to some of the world’s top beaches, as well as lively entertainment, sports and nightlife venues, theme parks such as Busch Gardens and Adventure Islands, and other famous Florida attractions.

Delta is also offering discounted fares from Seattle to Tampa and other top leisure destinations this winter and spring.
