Delta Air Lines to Restart Tel Aviv Service in September

Delta Air Lines is returning to Israel next month.
The airline announced Wednesday that it will restart daily nonstop service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) beginning Sept. 6, 2026.
The return flight from Tel Aviv to New York will launch the following day, Sept. 7.
Delta initially halted service to Tel Aviv following the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas conflict in October 2023. While the airline briefly resumed flights in June 2024, escalating regional tensions forced another pause in July 2024, which was subsequently extended through early 2025.
The service will operate on an Airbus A330-900neo, featuring four cabin classes: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin.
According to Delta, the decision to resume service follows a thorough evaluation of the security environment in the region, conducted in close coordination with aviation authorities and government agencies.
