Help Your Client Win A Free Wedding

by Jessica Montevago  March 07, 2017

They say it pays to be nice, and that’s certainly true in Dayton, OH. The Holiday Inn Dayton Fairborn has launched a social campaign challenging brides- and grooms-to-be to share a short video demonstrating their philanthropic efforts—and the winner will receive a free wedding package in the hotel’s Grand Ballroom worth more than $10,000.

To qualify for the “Future Wedding Giveaway,” future brides and/or grooms must create a video about one minute in length that demonstrates how they give back to their community, whether it’s volunteer work for a non-profit or cooking dinner for an elderly neighbor.  Entries can be posted anytime between now and Oct. 1 to Holiday Inn Dayton Fairborn’s Facebook page.  The video with the most likes by Oct. 21 wins a free wedding.

The Holiday Inn Dayton Fairborn will work with the couple on picking a wedding date in 2018, based on availability. “We will be there every step of the way, from the initial site tour to the final tasting, to ensure the perfect dream wedding experience,” said catering sales manager Kalyn Leeper.

Included in the free wedding package will be: use of the Grand Ballroom for up to 275 people, food and beverage, flowers and center pieces, dance floor, staging, tables and linens, colored napkins, overlays, sashes, service and a honeymoon bridal suite. Discounts will also be offered on extras like chair covers, special lighting and cake. The wedding giveaway package has a total value of more than $10,000.

The newly renovated hotel, which is owned and managed by Portfolio Hotels & Resorts,  features 203 guestrooms, an indoor heated pool, complimentary Wi-Fi and parking, and an outdoor lounge area.
