Windjammer Joins Leading Hotels of the World

Saint Lucia’s Windjammer Landing.

Windjammer Landing Resort & Residences has joined The Leading Hotels of the World, the only resort in Saint Lucia to earn the prestigious recognition.

“Being welcomed into The Leading Hotels of the World is a proud milestone for us and we are honored to be recognized as part of the collection,” said Nick Prattas, Managing Director of Windjammer Landing Resort & Residences.

“This achievement speaks to the passion of our team, the vision behind our extensive transformation, and our deep roots in Saint Lucia — all of which drive us to deliver exceptional and lasting experiences for every guest.”

Windjammer Landing’s one- to four-bedroom luxury suites and villas have long defined laid-back elegance in Saint Lucia. Known for its personalized hospitality and deep connection to local culture, the resort offers everything from bespoke spa experiences to beachfront dining across seven distinctive restaurants and bars. Now recognized as a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, Windjammer Landing stands proudly among the world’s most exceptional luxury destinations.

Leading Hotels of the World represent a curated collection of more than 400 hotels in over 80 countries with just 12 properties in the Caribbean, each recognized for their exceptional quality, distinct character, and unwavering dedication to hospitality. Properties range from serene beachfront escapes to iconic city landmarks, and each member is chosen for its unique experience, commitment to the local community, and excellence in service.

“At The Leading Hotels of the World, we’re proud to welcome properties that reflect the spirit of independent luxury,” says Deniz Omurgonulsen, Vice President, Member Experience, The Leading Hotels of the World.

“Windjammer Landing Resort & Residences brings a distinctive charm to our collection. As our only member hotel in Saint Lucia, it enhances our presence in the Caribbean and captures the spirit of authentic, elevated hospitality. Perched on a hillside with sweeping sea views, it offers guests a refined island escape filled with character, comfort, and unforgettable experiences.”

Direct flights from Toronto Pearson to Saint Lucia’s Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) are available on Air Canada and WestJet.
