You don’t need to book an all-inclusive resort to give your clients a fun, memorable beach vacation. Try one of these domestic beach boutique hotels for the next relaxing getaway you plan.
The Roundtree Amagansett (Hamptons, New York)
Summers in the Hamptons are made even more luxuriously relaxing at The Roundtree Amagansett. The property, which opened in 2020 and is already a big hit among travelers and critics alike, offers 14 rooms in historic, renovated cottages. Its expansive lawn is fully equipped for lounging during the day and making smores around the fire at night. The hotel provides everything travelers need for their stay and adjoining excursions.
Guests can choose between breakfast delivered to their door and dining al fresco each morning, plus there is afternoon tea and cookies each day. There are beach cruisers available for guests to bicycle into town and buggies available to rent for transportation to the beach. The Roundtree is conveniently located on Main Street, right where the Hampton Jitney stops for travelers from New York City, and about a mile away from the beach.
Fitch Lodge (Key West, Florida)
Part of Key West Historic Inns, Fitch Lodge blends historic charm with a bohemian vibe in its design with a tasteful display of florals and pastels. The hotel boasts an outdoor pool, concierge services, and accessible room options. Pets are welcome for a $50 fee per night. Room types can accommodate two to four guests each.
The hotel, as well as its counterparts in the collection, are all steps away from Duvall Street in Key West. Fitch Lodge has a neighborhood vibe and low-key atmosphere recommended for on-the-go explorers.
Hotel Palms (Atlantic Beach, Florida)
Within the walls of this renovated motor court inn are 11 stylish guest rooms, a courtyard, coffee shop, and lounge. There’s a laid-back, coastal motel charm about Hotel Palms that aims to keep guests relaxed and happy. Clients looking for simple comforts will enjoy the nature of Hotel Palms.
Located three blocks from the beach, this boutique offers guests easy access from the property to the sandy shores. Hotel Palms has uniquely designed suites that sleep between two and four people, and it frequently rotates its artists in residence, which means there is edgy, modern artwork on display and available for purchase.
Mar Monte Hotel (Santa Barbara, California)
This 1930s hotel, then known as Vista Mar Monte, underwent a makeover in 2021. The extensive renovation gave the 200-room boutique modern amenities and classic Spanish-influenced design that embodies Santa Barbara. It is just steps from East Beach and a few minutes from the city’s downtown.
Mar Monte Hotel has two highly rated restaurants: Costa Kitchen & Bar and Cafe Lido. The hotel also offers an oceanfront pool, meeting and event spaces, and outdoor terraces. There are a wide array of rooms and suite categories to choose from, plus thoughtful amenities, such as robes, yoga mats, Keurig machines, and more in every room.
The Martin by Greydon House (Nantucket, Massachusetts)
Originally constructed in 1803, this historic inn has been newly reimagined and just opened this month under Greydon Hotel Group. Clients looking for a brand-new property to step foot in with a sophisticated coastal vibe will love The Martin, located on the island of Nantucket’s Centre Street, within walking distance of beaches, shops, landmarks, and restaurants.
The 15-room property ranges room type from a standard twin to a deluxe king. Notably the deluxe king has its own private balcony, and the studio king suite offers a spacious living area. Amenities include complimentary breakfast, afternoon cookies, and luxurious robes and bath products in every room.
