Club Med Offers Behind-the-Scenes Insights in 4-Part Documentary Series

Club Med Offers Behind-the-Scenes Insights in 4-Part Documentary Series

Dream Makers is a 4-page documentary about the process of selecting a Club Med Chef de Village.

Club Med is letting cameras inside its operations with a four-episode documentary — now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

‘Dream Makers’ follows eleven candidates from all over the world competing for the Chef de Village role, one of the most demanding and coveted positions in global hospitality.

Many apply, but few are chosen. There’s a single-digit acceptance rate for applicants, knowledge of multiple languages is required, and the Chef de Village is responsible for the emotional experience of an entire resort.

Chef de Village applicants compete for a coveted role.

Club Med says the documentary series offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at a brand most people thought they already knew, and a front-row seat to the most important kind of luxury in travel: happiness.

The people shaping the resorts of tomorrow aren’t executives in a boardroom, they’re the Chefs de Village — also known as the “Creators of Happiness.”

Through simulations, group challenges, high-pressure interviews, and committee decisions, the series goes behind the postcard-perfect images into the moments that define the role, from a resort being rebuilt in just ten months to navigating uncharted territory in brand new destinations.
