Hilton is set to welcome guests to its new Hilton Singapore Orchard starting in January. The hotel, at 1,080 rooms spread across two hours, will be Hilton’s largest in Asia Pacific.

The hotel, which was once the Mandarin Orchard Singapore, will open in Orchard Road, Singapore’s retail district, a half-hour drive from Singapore Changi Airport.

Guests will get access to two 24-hour fitness centers, an outdoor pool, an executive lounge, and a direct connection to a luxury-shopping gallery that hosts a number of cafes, restaurants, and shops. The hotel itself will offer five dining concepts including the two Michelin-starred Shisen Hanten by Chen Kenmin, largely regarded as the “Father of Szechwan Cuisine.”

Hilton also sees the hotel as a meetings and events venue—16 total events spaces are on-site, offering a total of 2,400 square meters of event space for conventions, exhibitions, weddings, and more.

Speaking about the new property, Hilton vice president of operations for South East Asia Paul Hutton said the company sees the hotel as a “hub and key destination for business and leisure travelers.”

“We are delighted to start a brand-new year with the launch of a significant addition to our regional portfolio through the opening of Hilton Singapore Orchard, which will represent a true landmark Hilton hotel in an important gateway city for South East Asia, and look forward to continue delivering our renowned levels of Hilton hospitality to everyone who passes through the doors of the hotel,” he said.
