Hyatt has appointed Eduardo Schutte as Hyatt Inclusive Collection’s senior vice president of commercial, effective July 27.

In the new role, Schutte will lead commercial strategy and oversee sales, revenue management, brand, marketing, distribution and other commercial functions. He will report to Javier Águila, president of Hyatt Inclusive Collection, and work closely with Mark Vondrasek, Hyatt’s chief commercial officer.

“Eduardo brings a rare combination of hospitality operating depth, sophisticated distribution expertise and enterprise-scale commercial leadership, all of which will be invaluable as we continue to grow and strengthen Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection,” Águila said. “Under his leadership, I’m confident our commercial organization will reach new heights and play an even greater role in delivering on our ambition to be the world’s best all-inclusive organization.”

Schutte brings more than 30 years of senior commercial leadership experience to Hyatt, most recently as chief commercial officer at Cross Border Xpress. He also previously held leadership positions at Grupo Posadas, TravelClick, LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels, Hilton, and Amadeus.

The appointment comes as Hyatt Inclusive Collection builds on recent growth, totaling more than 150 resorts and nearly 58,000 rooms across Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe. It also comes as the collection plans openings such as Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana, Park Hyatt Riviera Maya, and Grand Hyatt Los Cabos by the end of 2026.
