Kimpton EPIC Hotel Appoints New Director of Sales and Marketing

Kimpton EPIC Hotel has appointed Ivette Davalos as its new director of sales and marketing.

Davalos has nearly two decades of experience in Miami’s hospitality industry, and her arrival at Kimpton EPIC Hotel is a homecoming for the Miami native. She was part of the hotel’s opening team in 2008 and worked there for nine years. Most recently, she spent eight years as director of sales and marketing at The National Hotel Miami Beach.

“Returning to EPIC feels incredibly special,” Davalos said. “This property played such a pivotal role in my career, and it’s where I built lasting relationships and a strong foundation in luxury hospitality. Coming back is both an honor and an opportunity to continue building on that legacy.”

In her new role, Davalos will help drive group, leisure, and event business through strong partnerships in the luxury sector. She will also help grow grand visibility for the hotel, a design-forward, oceanfront property overlooking Miami’s Biscayne Bay.

“Luxury isn’t defined by what you see—it’s defined by how you feel, the connections you make, and the moments that stay with you long after,” Davalos said. “I look forward to bringing a fresh perspective while honoring what has always made EPIC so special.”
