For clients traveling to Bali, a new resort on the island caters to both adults and families with kids – and to both travelers who want hotel-only and an all-inclusive package.
Paradisus by Meliá Bali has just opened, featuring 492 luxury suites, including seven private garden villas, in the popular beachfront destination of Nusa Dua, located on the southern coast of the Indonesian island.
The opening marks the Asia debut for Meliá Hotels International’s Paradisus brand, more than four decades after the company opened its first-ever Asia property in Bali.

“Bali holds a special place in Meliá’s history. Today, we are proud to see that legacy evolve. This resort represents a new way of experiencing a destination many travelers globally feel they already know,” said Gabriel Escarrer Jaume, chairman and CEO of Meliá Hotels International. “Through thoughtful design, cultural immersion and a sense of ease created by our all-inclusive approach, Paradisus by Meliá Bali invites guests to discover a deeper, more connected side of the island, one that allows each guest to define wellbeing in their own way.”
When booking, clients have the choice of bed-and-breakfast or all-inclusive rates. The resort features four pools, eight dining venues and three bars, surrounded by tropical gardens overlooking the Indian Ocean.
Within the resort is The Reserve, the adults-only section for guests 16 and older, which has its own private beach and pool, as well as dedicated arrival and departure areas. There are also a Family Concierge and Teens Club, plus plenty of family-friendly areas, from the Aquazone water park and slides to the sports facilities and a karaoke room.

Dining options include Malva for all-day international meals, Peseta for traditional Spanish cuisine, Kanna Beach Restaurant for South American-inspired food, Samira for Middle Eastern cuisine, Tokimeku for Japanese dining, and Arum for Indonesign food with Balinese performances. The property also has three bars and a local coffee shop.
The resort offers a range of wellness, cultural, gastronomic, and adventure activities for a wide range of guests, from kids and teenager programming to adults-only experiences. Paradisus by Meliá’s Destination Inclusive program ensures that there is plenty to do, from seeing a show at the Devan Show at Bali Nusa Dua Theatre to Balinese arts and crafts to fish and duck feeding.
For wellness, the property follows the brand’s Wellness Designed by Destination, which weaves local tradition into guests’ entire experience, as well as into fitness activities at treatments at the YHI Spa.
