Playa Hotels & Resorts Rolls Out Reopening Plan

Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana

Playa Hotels & Resorts will begin welcoming back guests this summer to its all-inclusive resorts across Mexico and throughout the Caribbean after closing due to COVID-19.

On July 1, Hyatt Zilara Cancun, Hyatt Ziva Cancun, Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall, Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall, Hilton Playa del Carmen, Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa, Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort & Spa, and Jewel Paradise Cove Beach Resort & Spa will reopen.

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta, Panama Jack Resorts Cancun, and Sanctuary Cap Cana will follow on July 15, with the Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana complex in Punta Cana set for July 22.

Come fall, Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos will reopen Sept. 24 and Hilton La Romana and Panama Jack Resorts Playa del Carmen will reopen on Oct. 1.

As part of the reopenings, Playa will be hosting travel agents at their resorts in conjunction with the resort opening schedule.

In response to COVID-19, the Playa Safe Stay initiative will focus on safe social distancing at all times, personal protective gear throughout the resort along with regular health screenings and temperature checks, and sanitizing high traffic areas and high touch points in common areas hourly.
