Travel advisors, take notice: Here are some of the most exciting hotels opening their doors this summer, from a family-friendly theme park hotel to trendy boutiques.

Four Season Hotel Montreal
The latest luxury property to join Montreal’s iconic Golden Square Mile, Four Seasons Hotel Montreal officially opens on May 8 with 169 guest rooms, 19 suites and 18 Four Seasons Private Residences. The third-floor lobby level, decorated with white marble, gold elevators and pink-and-grey velvet walls, is home to Social Square, an open-concept series of spaces. It includes the new MARCUS Restaurant (an all-seasons heated terrace) and MARCUS Bar + Lounge (a brasserie concept by Chef Marcus Samuelsson). There is also a 24-hour fitness center by celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, sky-lit indoor pool, sauna and spa with fully private VIP rooms; and a 450-person Palais des Possibles ballroom, with a sweeping terrace overlooking Montreal.

Kimpton Hotel Arras
Housed in the former BB&T Bank building, the 128-room boutique Kimpton Hotel Arras will open this summer in Asheville, North Carolina’s, tallest building. The 18-story building includes 128 rooms, 54 residences, and two independently owned restaurants. Bargello will serve Mediterranean fine dining; and the all-day restaurant and bar, District 42, will offer smaller plates and cocktails. Guestrooms will have floor-to-ceiling windows; spa-like bathrooms; and in-room amenities like artisanal handcarts stocked with books by Asheville authors, lavender sachets, and evening cordials. The hotel will provide more than 5,000 square feet of flexible meetings and events space, with an option to secure an exclusive wine cellar for private entertaining.

Asbury Ocean Club Hotel
Set within a 17-story luxury condominium tower on the Asbury Park waterfront, in New Jersey, the Asbury Ocean Club Hotel will open on July 4. The 54-room boutique luxury hotel and outdoor pool overlook the Atlantic Ocean. Floor-to-glass ceiling guestrooms feature expansive terraces, with views of either the Atlantic or dunes. The hotel’s focal point is a glass house, called the Drawing Room, where a large fireplace serves as the heart of the room and the divider between the living room area and an open kitchen. Dining options include a Mediterranean-inspired menu served all day, poolside bar and grill, and a fine-dining restaurant spearheaded by a high-profile chef will debut in 2020.

Surfside Inn and Suites Orlando
Families on a budget can head to Universal Orlando Resort’s newest on-site hotel, Surfside Inn and Suites Orlando, starting June 27. The value-driven resort has 750 rooms, including two-bedroom family suites that sleep up to six, with three queen-sized beds, a separate bedroom and a kitchenette area. A beach theme lends a casual vibe with blue accents and warm wood tones. A free shuttle to the theme parks and early admission are included. The hotel is part of the Endless Summer Resort complex, which will also house a sister hotel, Dockside Inn and Suites, when it opens in 2020.

Halekulani Okinawa
The brand behind Halekulani Hotel in Waikiki will be opening its second property in Okinawa, Japan. From its location in Okinawa Kaigan Quasi-National Park to facing a coastline stretching more than one mile in Onna Village, Halekulani Okinawa is highlighting its surrounding natural beauty. When it opens on July 26, each of the 360 rooms will have a picturesque ocean view. There will also be an open-air spa with natural hot springs and an ocean-facing pool adorned with blue mosaic tiles. There are four restaurants and bars, including a French restaurant under the guidance of two-Michelin-starred Chef Hiroyasu Kawate. Other venues include a wine and steak concept, a Japanese restaurant, and an all-day eatery, in addition to a poolside bar and barbecue deck.

Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi
Spanning three private islands, Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi will provide a tranquil escape for guests when it debuts July 1, from 11 specialty dining venues, including an elevated treetop-dining concept, to ten idyllic overwater or garden treatment villas at the Waldorf Astoria Spa. The resort boasts 122 villas, each equipped with a pool and uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean in its own private enclave. Each reef, beach and overwater villa will open onto an indoor and outdoor deck featuring a swinging daybed, dining gazebo, an infinity pool, in-water lounge and an outdoor shower. The Waldorf Astoria Young Discovery Park, a water park for young guests, and the Lagoon Pool, are ideal for families.
