Warwick Paradise Island – Bahamas is celebrating the importance of travel advisors next month in recognition of “Travel Advisor Day” on May 5, 2021, in the U.S. and Canada.

The adults-only, all-inclusive resort will offer a free night, nightly appreciation rates, and commission incentives throughout the year.

“The events of this past year have demonstrated the importance of travel advisors as the trusted source for their clients’ vacations,” said Benjamin Davis, general manager of Warwick Paradise Island – Bahamas.

“Travel advisors play an instrumental role in returning clients to our resort and as a result, we support travel professionals’ efforts with year-round commissions up to 20% plus cash incentives per booking. We also offer the appreciation rates and free night so travel advisors can enjoy our all-inclusive experience as a vacation with loved ones,” Davis added.

During Travel Advisor Month, Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas is providing travel advisors a third-night free-of-charge when booking a personal stay May 1 – 31, 2021 for travel May 1 – Dec. 20, 2021. Travel professionals can reserve up to two rooms for their personal stays with friends and family. One free night is offered with a minimum three-night stay.

During the promotional booking period, the all-inclusive Travel Advisor Appreciation Rates start from US$260 per night for two people booked in an Island View room. Appreciation rates are offered for all room categories with starting rates varying according to room category and travel dates.

Travel professionals can reserve their stay by using TAFR through the website. Travel advisor reservations have a flexible cancellation policy of 72 hours and are subject to blackout dates and availability.

Warwick Paradise Island – Bahamas provides travel professionals with year-round commission of up to 20% on client reservations. Travel advisors receive 20% commission for “Best Flexible Rate” reservations; 15% commission for special promotional and seasonal packages as well as wedding and honeymoon packages; and 10% commission on reservations using special government, military, AARP, AAA, and senior traveler rates (65 and over).

Travel advisors who complete the “WPIB Specialist” training with a member of the r sales team, can participate in the resort’s “WPIB Travel Agents Incentive Program” which provides monetary incentives up to US$65 per client booking on top of their standard commissions to eligible retail travel professionals.

Qualified WPIB Specialists will receive the following cash incentives per booking (including group bookings) on top of their regular commissions. Direct bookings made via the resort’s website will receive $30 for three to four nights; $50 for five to six nights; and $65 for seven or more nights. Bookings that are made via participating tour operators or GDS will receive $20 for three to four nights; $40 for five to six nights; and $55 for seven or more nights.
