Global hospitality company YOTEL has named Phil Andreopoulos as its new CEO. Andreopoulos joins YOTEL from Marriott, where he spent 24 years, most recently serving as Chief Commercial Officer for the company’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
“YOTEL’s success over the last 15 years has been exemplary, transforming from a start-up concept into the global company it is today with an expansive portfolio of properties in prime locations,” said Talal Al Bahar, Chairman of YOTEL and Al-Bahar Group, in the announcement.
“Now, it is time to scale the business further. Phil Andreopoulos brings a wealth of commercial and operational experience, and under his leadership, YOTEL will enhance its distribution, direct business contribution, and loyalty proposition. He will also drive expansion of both the managed and franchise businesses in key markets,” Al Bahar added.
YOTEL operates three brands: YOTEL, YOTELPAD, and YOTELAIR. The company has a portfolio of 23 hotels across 16 cities and airports, including locations in New York, Boston, San Francisco, Singapore, Edinburgh, London, Amsterdam, Manchester, Paris, and Istanbul. An additional 11 properties are in the pipeline over the next two years, with new debuts planned for Perth and Saudi Arabia.
