ASTA Elects New Board of Directors

The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has elected new board members to its 2025-2026 Board of Directors. 

The newly elected National Directors of the ASTA Board of Directors will serve two-year terms beginning directly after the upcoming Travel Advisor Conference in Salt Lake City on May 20-22. Here is the list of newly elected and re-elected board members. 

At-Large Directors 

  • Cindy Coggin, Co-Owner, Coggin Travels  
  • Melinda Fortunato, President, Best Travel  
  • Pamela Irwin, Senior Sales Associate, Mansour Travel / Vice President Sales, ATB Travel   

Premium Agency Directors 

  • Eric Maryanov, President, All Travel   
  • Lee Thomas, Founder, NousTravel, LLC   

Host Agency Director 

  • Anita Pagliasso, Vice President of Industry Relations, KHM Travel Group   

Independent Advisor Director 

  • Chandra Brown, Owner/Advisor, Cruise Planners – Global Travel Pros LLC   

Regional Directors 

  • Virginia Peterson, Accounting Manager, Lake Shore Travel Service  
  • Lynda Phillippi, Travel Advisor, Renaissance Travel   

These new board director-elects will join returning directors Amanda Klimak, President / Co-Owner, Largay Travel; Anne MacIntyre, Owner/Partner, On the Map Travel; Shelly Phillips, Agency Owner and Senior Advisor, Travel By That Girl; Alex Sharpe, President and CEO, Signature Travel Network; and Cynthia Tyo, Owner, Travel Travel Fargo – Moorhead, Inc.  

In addition, the ASTA Board of Directors will welcome William Haire, Owner/Managing Partner of Travelink, as one of its Corporate Advisory Council Directors, following the formation of ASTA Corporate. 

The new ASTA Board of Directors also comes after the organization announced major new hires and promotions in its leadership team earlier this year.
