Collette & ASTA to Host Virtual Event on Rebranding Guided Travel

Collette is teaming up with the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) to host a virtual event for travel advisors on April 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. EST on the subject of “guided travel as a rebrand.”

The virtual event will be led by Collette President and CEO, Jaclyn Leibl-Cote (pictured above), and ASTA President and CEO, Zane Kerby. The two industry leaders will delve into topics such as misconceptions about guided travel and how the industry is responding to changing consumer preferences.

The virtual will last for one hour and will include an interactive Q&A session.

“The truth is, they don’t want ‘follow the flag’ itineraries, so we must break the mold,” said Leibl-Cote. “We’ve been straying away from the stereotypes of guided travel for years by giving our travelers more culturally immersive experiences. Zane and I will be discussing how we’ve continued to move the needle in guided travel.”

Travel advisors can register for the event online. An on-demand version will be made available for those who register but are unable to attend.

Collette offers tools and resources via its travel advisor portal, including live and on-demand events. Collette’s most recent virtual event for travel advisors explored the differences between premium and luxury travel.

“Guided travel is always evolving because our travelers continue to grow more culturally curious,” added Leibl-Cote.
