Avanti Destinations has released a new advisor reference guide for its expanded offerings in Central and South America.

Oregon-based Avanti Destinations is a trade-exclusive tour operator that specializes in independent travel. The company has been in operation since 1981 and sells fully customizable packaged travel in Europe, Asia, Central and South America, the South Pacific, North Africa, and the Middle East.

The new reference guide is 136 pages and contains information on the 38 vacation packages, 386 hotels and resorts, and 323 tours and experiences Avanti offers in the region. This includes 13 vacation packages, as well as more than 50 hotels and resorts, and over 60 tours and experiences that have been added in the last two years. In total, the FIT operator has options in 12 Central and South American countries, which advisors can use to build custom itineraries.

Avanti Destination packages can be booked by advisors in three categories: fully customized itineraries, altered suggested itineraries, and fixed-price, non-customizable packages. The latter are priced according to hotel star rating, type and number of rooms, and dates of travel.

The guide is available in print format. Travel advisors can order a copy online at https://www.avantidestinations.com/orderbrochures.

In 2025, Avanti celebrated 35 years of selling Central and South American vacations with a new collection of Latin America packages, which included both customizable and fixed-price, non-customizable itineraries. The entire collection of non-customizable Latin America packages can be viewed online.

According to Andrea Fournier-Courtney, Avanti’s product manager for Latin America, the trends driving Latin American bookings this year include multi-gen family groups interested in nature and soft adventure.

“There are also an increasing number of bookings for experiences related to food and drink, cooking, and learning about the culture of indigenous peoples,” said Fournier-Courtney. “It’s interesting to note that there has been more growth in advisor bookings in 2026 for Guatemala, Ecuador, and Panama compared with 2025. Advance bookings for 2027 show significant increases in Brazil and again, Ecuador.”
