A network outage at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is causing headaches for travelers flying out of Canada’s busiest hub Thursday morning.

According to a Pearson spokesperson, an outage that was reported just before 6 a.m. Thursday morning was causing issues at check-in, along with some flight delays. The outage lasted about an hour, and while operations were getting back on track, the impact was still being felt by travelers arriving later in the morning.

“The network outage impacting some airport functions earlier this morning has been resolved. Operations are improving, but expect some longer-than-usual lines through the morning,” the airport said in a statement. “Airport staff are managing the flow of travelers.”

According to the airport, almost every flight scheduled before 8:30 a.m. EDT was suffering from a delay, though most of them were limited to about 15 minutes.

Pearson’s schedule for later in the day remained on time as of early Thursday morning, but travelers should still be prepared for a possible delay if they are flying out of Pearson on Thursday, and should be prepared to arrive at the airport earlier than normal.
