ALG Vacations is celebrating World Kindness Day by announcing key information about the company’s kindness initiatives in 2026.

ALGV is spearheading a kindness movement within the travel industry. As Jacki Marks, global head of trade brands, explained during today’s webinar, “Pro Power Hour: Celebrating World Kindness Day with ALG Vacations,” care is a core value at the company. It’s not about marketing—travel is an emotional product, and that makes professionals in this industry uniquely suited for philanthropy and giving back.

To reaffirm this commitment to care, ALGV is bringing back its Kindness Contributions program. The program is being expanded for 2026, with $9,000 in gift cards for travel advisors making a difference in their local communities and around the globe. This represents almost quadruple the amount distributed in 2025.

ALGV will award 15 travel advisors Kindness Contributions across three categories: Kindness Begins Here (local initiatives), Kindness Travels Far (relief and support abroad), and Kindness Endures (education, empowerment, and sustainability). In each category, four advisors will receive $500, and one will receive $1,000. Contributions will be awarded in the form of gift cards.

Nominations are now open through Dec. 19, 2025. Recipients will be announced in January.

ALGV has also announced information about the next Kindness Events. The conference, which brings together 80 travel advisors for personal development workshops, site inspections, and a hands-on community giveback initiative, will be held on July 13 to 17 in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. More details, like how to apply or nominate travel advisors, will be revealed next month.

“Kindness has become a defining part of who we are at ALG Vacations,” said Marks. “Through our Kindness Contributions, we’re recognizing advisors who embody care in action—those who go beyond business to make meaningful impacts in their communities and the destinations they love. By supporting their efforts, we’re helping kindness carry on, empowering advisors to extend that impact even further in the places they live and serve.”
