ALG Vacations has announced its slate of 2026 travel advisor events, including the dates of its upcoming MegaFAM and its popular Ascend conference.

The tour operator’s lineup of travel advisor events offers a mix of recognition-based retreats, destination-focused FAMs, business development programs, and large-scale educational conferences.

As previously announced, the flagship Ascend Conference will be held in Cancun in October, featuring multi-day workshops and a supplier tradeshow. The tour operator will also host a series of Groups Roadshow events nationwide, and is bringing back its dual Kindness events in July: Kindness Conference for 40 travel advisors under 40 and Kindness Connection for 40 seasoned pros looking to inspire and be inspired.

New for 2026, ALGV is introducing a Content Creators Trip, a contest-based experience focused on helping social-savvy advisors grow their businesses through storytelling and digital marketing.

“Each event is designed with a specific purpose in mind,” said Jim Tedesco, vice president of sales. “Whether an advisor is focused on overall sales growth, product specialization, group business, or content creation, our goal is to help them choose the experiences that will deliver the most value for their business.”

Travel advisors interested in attending 2026 events are encouraged to submit interest via the ALGV event page. The events do have specific qualifications, and all attendees must maintain ALGVPro certification.

“At ALG Vacations, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all events,” said Jacki Marks, global head of trade sales and engagement. “Our 2026 events are designed to help advisors be intentional about where they invest their time by choosing experiences that align with how they want to grow their business.”

ALGV 2026 FAM Opportunities

The popular MegaFAM format is set to return this summer with two Pros on the Go trips in Cancun (June) and Punta Cana (July). First introduced in 2024, these super-charged familiarization trips bring together roughly 150 travel advisors for multi-resort site visits, curated excursions, and a dedicated day of professional development.

ALGV will also be bringing advisors to Europe for a more traditional FAM trip in September that focuses on London and Ireland. This opportunity was developed for travel advisors looking to grow their long-haul business and will include site inspections, unique excursions, and chances to interact with ALGV leadership.

Finally, the tour operator is partnering with Fiji Airlines for a small-group Fiji and Australia FAM, scheduled for August (resorts to be announced). This week-long experience is open to advisors who have demonstrated success or commitment to growing their Indo-Pacific business with ALGV.

Already this year, ALGV hosted 100 advisors for a voluntourism FAM in Jamaica, which aimed to help the country rebuild after the devastating impact of record-breaking Hurricane Melissa — while reminding the advisors that the Caribbean island nation’s resorts and tourist hotspots have returned to normal operations.
