EF Go Ahead Tours has announced the expansion of its Europe portfolio with three weeklong tours in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, set to launch in 2027.

Developed in response to demand for shorter guided travel packages, the new itineraries provide travelers with immersive cultural experiences and iconic sights within a seven-night format (nine days total, including the overnight departure flight to the destination). Guests will be escorted by expert Tour Directors, and can look forward to local culinary experiences, curated excursions, and convenient accommodations.

The new itineraries are: A Week in Austria: Vienna, Salzburg & the Alps, A Week in Germany: Munich, Nuremberg & the Rhine Valley, and A Week in Switzerland: Lake Geneva, Swiss Alps & Ticino. Highlights include experiences inspired by “The Sound of Music” in Austria, a Hofbrauhaus beer hall tour and castle stay in Germany, and a Swiss alphorns factory tour in Switzerland, where artisans craft the country’s famous instruments.

The trips are available to book now, with departures starting in February and March, 2027. Group sizes range from 15 to 38 travelers, and are rated as “high” activity levels.

With the introduction of these three tours, EF Go Ahead Tours offers more than 200 curated itineraries across 80+ countries.

“Travelers are looking for trips that maximize both time and experience, with immersive cultural learning,” said Lael Kassis, vice president of market innovation and development, EF Go Ahead Tours. “These new weeklong itineraries make it easier than ever to deeply explore Europe’s most iconic and epic destinations with expert guidance, built-in flexibility, and the peace of mind that comes from traveling with a trusted tour operator like Go Ahead.”
