For the first time, G Adventures is bringing its active itineraries to Dominica.

The new offerings are part of G Adventures’ premium Geluxe Collection, which the company positions as an alternative to typical Caribbean “fly-and-flop” or beach holidays. The tours focus on Dominica’s rugged nature, including its inland rainforests, volcanic landscapes, and diverse marine life.

The expansion includes an eight-day culture and hiking expedition and a seven-day marine-focused adventure. Here are the details:

Waterfalls, Volcanic Peaks & Kalinago Culture (8 Days): a land-focused trip features hikes to Trafalgar and Middleham Falls, snorkeling at the volcanic “Champagne Beach,” and a visit to the Kalinago Barana Autê village.

Whales, Waterfalls & the Wild Caribbean (7 Days): This itinerary centers on Dominica’s new 800-square-kilometer marine sanctuary. It offers the opportunity to swim with sperm whales over five days.

“We’re incredibly excited to shine a light on Dominica’s natural and cultural richness,” said Yves Marceau, VP of Product at G Adventures. “By moving beyond the cruise narrative, we are helping travelers experience the island more deeply while ensuring tourism revenue reaches local and indigenous communities.”
