G Adventures Moves 2026 GX Summit to New Location

G Adventures has revealed the new location for its 2026 GX Summit, which will be held in September.

Entering its fourth year, the GX Summit is an annual industry event that brings together travel advisors, partners, media, travelers, industry leaders, and G Adventures staff that was created to celebrate the transformative power of community tourism.

The tour operator has announced that the event will now be held in Cambodia. Previously, G Adventures announced that the upcoming GX Summit would be held in Morocco.

In a statement, G Adventures said the decision to change the location “reflects GX’s core mission to use travel as a force for good by supporting destinations where community tourism can have the greatest positive impact.”

GX Cambodia will take place from Sept. 23 to 28, 2026, and the summit will feature opportunities for attendees to immerse themselves in the destination’s culture and history.

“GX is so much more than a conference,” said Bruce Poon Tip, founder of G Adventures. “It’s about celebrating the power of travel done right, in destinations where our global community can help drive real, positive change. Morocco has enjoyed significant tourism success in recent years while Cambodia, despite being a spectacular and safe destination, has faced challenges following regional unrest, which impacts the livelihoods of local people.”
