Great Rail Journeys joined the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA).
“We are thrilled to welcome Great Rail Journeys to USTOA as our newest Active Member,” said Terry Dale, USTOA president and CEO. “As a leader in escorted rail vacations around the world, their expertise and global portfolio will bring even more value to the association, and their commitment to quality and customer experience aligns perfectly with the values of USTOA.”
Founded in 1973, Great Rail Journeys has provided rail travel for more than 50 years, crafting expertly curated vacations that combine iconic rail routes with rich cultural experiences. Since its inception, the company has pioneered both escorted and independent journeys, bringing deep expertise and a passion for discovery to travelers across the U.S. and beyond.
As a member of USTOA, Great Rail Journeys must participate in the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program, which requires every member to post a $1 million financial security. This fun reimburses consumer deposits and payments if a member company goes bankrupt, becomes insolvent, or ceases business.
Great Rail Journeys headquarters is in York, United Kingdom, with a U.S. based office in Chicago. For more information on Great Rail Journeys, visit greatrail.com/us/travelagents.
