Great Rail Journeys joined the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA).

As a member of USTOA, Great Rail Journeys must participate in the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program, which requires every member to post a $1 million financial security. This fun reimburses consumer deposits and payments if a member company goes bankrupt, becomes insolvent, or ceases business.
