Luxury tour operator Kensington has expanded its collection of itineraries themed to family and multi-generational travel.
According to Kensington, the new tours were developed in response to data and client interest. Research shows that multi-gen is a growing niche within family travel, with the summer season seeing increased demand. The new trips were created to meet the needs of these travelers, including longer stays, hands-on cultural experiences, slower-paced itineraries, a blend of education and exploration, and comfort.
“Multigenerational travel continues to shape how families plan vacations, particularly for longer summer trips,” said Helen Giontsis, president of Kensington. “Both internal and industry research shows that more families are traveling with grandparents, parents, and children together, prioritizing destinations and itineraries that can accommodate a wide range of interests, mobility levels, and travel styles. In addition, we are seeing that families are booking major trips further in advance to secure preferred accommodations, guides, and exclusive access experiences.”
