Perillo Tours has announced the addition of two new women-only small group tours to its 2027 Italy portfolio.

Known for its Italy expertise, Perillo Tours is a family-run tour operator that has been taking travelers to Europe since 1945. The company offers escorted tours in Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Hawai’i, and Greece. Perillo’s bespoke arm also plans vacations in Greece and Italy.

The two new itineraries are Women in Sorrento and Women in Umbria. These women-only departures are nine-day small group tours capped at 20 guests. Each departure will be led by a female tour director, and the itineraries were designed specifically for female travellers.

Women in Sorrento takes travelers along the Amalfi Coast with excursions to Positano, Capri, Amalfi, and the ancient ruins of Pompeii. Highlights include a full-day countryside excursion with olive oil, mozzarella-making, and limoncello demonstrations and tastings, and an exclusive “Sfusato Amalfitano” lemon experience.

Women in Umbria pairs five nights in the medieval hill town of Gubbio with two nights in Florence. The tour takes women through Umbria and Tuscany to explore the history, culture, and flavors of the region. The itinerary also features expert-led visits to Assisi, Perugia, Deruta, and Spello.

“Over the last few years, we’ve heard from more and more women who want to travel on their own or with friends in a group created just for them,” said Steve Perillo, third-generation owner of Perillo Tours. “These tours have been created with these travelers in mind, and we’re excited to see where it takes us.”
