Sandals Grande Antigua To Temporarily Close For Renovations

Sandals Grande Antigua To Temporarily Close For Renovations

Sandals Grande Antigua

Sandals Grande Antigua will temporary close for renovations beginning in September and reopen Dec. 17.

Guests impacted by the closure can choose to return to the resort within one year of their original travel date and Sandals Resorts will honor the original rate and pay any airline change fees or penalties. Or they can travel on their original dates and stay at a different Sandals or Beaches Resort, with the airfare covered. Travel in either case must be completed by Dec. 15, 2018.

Additionally, Sandals Resorts will offer impacted clients credit nights, depending on length of stay.

Sandals didn’t elaborate on what will be done other than saying they are “important maintenance projects.”

This is the first time Sandals Grande Antigua, the only Sandals Resort in this destination, has closed since opening in 1992.
