Top 5 (Let’s Make it 10) Things That Will Earn You More Cash from G Adventures

G Adventures Change Makers

Speaking with suppliers, we often hear that they wish more travel advisors would maximize their earnings and make more efficient use their time by leveraging company-specific incentives, loyalty programs, self-service tools and more. So we decided to offer suppliers a forum to promote the practices they believe will lead to higher earnings for advisors. For this installment, we asked G Adventures Managing Director David Green to come up with five ways advisors can earn more with G. He doubled down with 10, because G always likes to exceed expectations.

G Adventures’ Managing Director, Canada David Green wears his passion for the product on his sleeves.

“You work hard,” said Green. “So why not get rewarded for every booking, every training, and every moment you spend repping life-changing adventures? At G Adventures, we’re all about giving back to our travel agent community with incentives that actually make a difference.”

Here are the top 5 10 ways to earn more with G, while doing what you already do best:

Rack up G Dollars with every booking

G Dollars = travel credits earned and since we’re ‘Born in Canada, Made to Travel the World,’ this is just for Canadian travel agents! Every time you book a G Adventures trip, you earn G Dollars to use on your own adventures. No gimmicks, no hoops—just free travel money in your pocket. And yes, it stacks with your agent discount. Visit Sherpa or speak to your GPS for details!

Show up and level up with ‘In the Loop’

G’s monthly In the Loop webinars aren’t just about product knowledge (though you’ll get plenty of that). They’re your inside track on new tours, selling tips, fam trip invites, and — oh yeah — a chance to win a free trip every single month. Learn more, sell smarter, win bigger. If you’re not already registered, please RSVP here.

Turn knowledge into commission

Whether it’s holding options in Sherpa, booking add-ons (pre/post, My Own Room or optional activities), or leveraging Lifetime Deposits, there are smart ways to turn every inquiry into extra income. Pro tip: Ask your GPS for a list of past clients with LTDs — it’s an easy win to get those converted into live bookings.

Once your clients have experienced a G trip, they’re likely to return.

Make Private Groups your secret weapon

Nobody knows their clients better than you. Whether it’s a yoga crew, hiking club, or that big family getaway, Private Groups let you create adventures that fit exactly what they’re looking for. The best part? You earn more, your clients have an epic trip, and you become their go-to for group travel magic.

Take advantage of your agent discount (and bring friends!)

As a preferred travel agent with G Adventures, you get 50% off your own G trip — and you can bring up to three friends or family at 25% off. Combine that with your G Dollars and you might just be travelling for (close to) free. Use your own adventures to inspire clients and earn more bookings. Plus tag #gadventures and your posts could be shared with G’s +300k audience on Instagram!

Tap into the power of repeat travellers

Great agents don’t just make bookings — they build relationships. With G’s super-high repeat rate and the new Great Adventure Club rewarding loyal travellers, you’ve got a built-in reason to reconnect with past clients and turn one trip into many, many more. It’s easier to rebook than reinvent the wheel — especially when G’s got your back.

Maximize with ‘My Own Room’

Solo travellers often crave their own space. That’s where My Own Room comes in. Offering clients the chance to book a private room on group trips not only enhances their experience — it boosts your commission. Plus, it’s an easy way to cater to those who prefer a bit more privacy without compromising the group vibe of the adventure.

There’s a whole world of G Adventures.

Focus on long-term growth with happy clients

It’s not just about the next booking — it’s about building a lasting travel business. Encourage your clients to leave positive reviews and share their experiences with friends and family. Word-of-mouth is a powerful tool, and the more glowing recommendations you get, the more trust you build in your community. Happy clients = repeat bookings and referrals.

Sell smarter, not harder

G Adventures understands that your time is everything and time is money. That’s why the business is built around leading with service. With live chat, fast response times, and real human help, you can get back to what you do best — connecting people to unforgettable adventures (and yes, earning money while you’re at it).

Get in on G-Normous—G’s biggest agent incentive of the year

Every spring, it’s game on. G-Normous is your shot at epic prizes, free trips, and serious bragging rights. The more you book, the more you earn—and the more chances you have to win. It’s our way of saying thanks for being part of the G community.

Summing it all up, we’ll hand the mic back to David Green: “The takeaway? We’re not just about changing the lives of travellers. We’re here to support yours, too. Sell more. Learn more. Earn more. Only with G.”
