Oasis Travel Network (OTN) on Wednesday announced that Erwing Hernandez, a longtime trade veteran, is joining the host agency as its new executive vice president.
Hernandez, who is based in Central Florida, spent more than 27 years at Travel Planners International, leaving as senior vice president in January to take the helm as president of Trevello U.S., the U.S. offshoot of one of the biggest agency groups in Canada.
Now, according to the announcement by Oasis CEO Lee Smolinski, Hernandez will take over as executive vice president of operations for Oasis where he will work alongside new Chief Commercial Officer Kameish Stanley and new Chief Financial Officer Sylwia Klimczak. All will work with Kirsi Kiviranta, a longtime Oasis veteran who is serving as president.
Hernandez will be tasked with overseeing operations, recruitment, and strategic initiatives for Oasis.
“We are thrilled to welcome Erwing to our leadership team,” said Lee Smolinski, chairman and CEO of Oasis Travel Network. “His vision, experience, and passion for empowering travel advisors align perfectly with our mission. With Erwing’s leadership, we are poised to accelerate growth, deepen partnerships, and continue building an innovative host agency model that prioritizes advisor success.”
