Travelport Launches COVID-19 Response Microsite

Travelport recently announced the launch of a new COVID-19 travel industry response microsite, which will serve as a hub containing information and resources to help advisors manage their business through this challenging time.

“At Travelport, we want to ensure we’re doing all we can to help the industry through this unprecedented situation,” Travelport said in a statement on its website. “This hub is a source of information, with ongoing updates and data to help your business through this difficult period.”

The site features regular reports on global travel trends, along with analysis of industry data, an airline policy tracker, tips for tips on how to maximize productivity during this period, and more.

The site is updated regularly and Travelport is introducing additional categories as the need arises. In fact, in just the last few days, the site added a hotel and car policy trackers, a guide for best practices and training with regards to the outbreak, and other useful industry news and agent resources.

“We are also regularly updating our airline policy tracker and adding other content as the situation continues to rapidly evolve,” said Nick Dagg, Chief Commercial Officer- Agency for Travelport.
