Century Cruises, a China-based luxury river cruise operator, has announced the appointment of Alexis McKinnon Puma to its leadership team.
Bringing more than two decades’ worth of experience in the cruise sector, Puma joins as global sales & MICE strategist. In her new role, she will lead global growth initiatives by applying a data-driven strategy to expand the brand’s presence in the MICE and charter segments, with a focus on innovation, personalization, and market leadership.
Puma has a strong background in sales leadership with some of the biggest brands in the industry, including Crystal Cruises, Holland America Line, and Seabourn. Notably, she lead Royal Caribbean Group’s Global Charter and Operations team, delivering record-breaking revenue.
“I’ve known Alexis for many years, and she is deeply respected within the MICE world,” said David Fredericks, senior vice president of sales & marketing at Century Cruises. “As we continue to expand Century Cruises globally, our investment in the MICE industry is a key priority. Adding Alexis to our leadership team will accelerate that growth—she is truly one of the best in the business.”
One of China’s main river cruise operators, Century Cruises is aiming to expand its reach to North America and Europe. Century Cruises announced its plan to enter Europe back in August, and in September, appointed Ralph Monteleone as vice president of Century Air.
