Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has announced its largest fleet expansion to date: four new ships and six itineraries will launch in 2027.
Although the fleet expansion was originally announced back in March, Uniworld has revealed more details for the 2027 newbuild Super Ships. The first two S.S. Audrey and S.S. Marlene (pictured), will be sister ships to 2026’s S.S. Emilie; named after Hollywood icons Audrey Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich, the ships pay homage to timeless elegance and will sail in Europe. The third Super Ship, S.S. São Rafael, is a brother ship to the S.S. São Gabriel and will sail in Portugal.
The fourth ship joining Uniworld’s fleet in 2027 is the expedition yacht Aqua Blu. Operated in partnership with Aqua Expeditions, the 15-suite ship will sail just twice a year in Asia.
The new 2027 itineraries include:
- Bali, Singapore & Indonesia Expedition – A 13-night journey on the Aqua Blu combining three nights in Bali, a seven-night expedition cruise along Indonesia’s coastline, and three nights in Singapore, featuring wildlife spotting, snorkeling, kayaking, and cultural immersion.
- Paris, Prague & Germany’s Hidden Gems – An 11-night voyage on the S.S. Audrey blending stays in Paris and Prague with a Rhine and Moselle River cruise, including castle visits, wine tasting, canoeing, and local culinary experiences.
- Scenic Rhine, Paris & the Swiss Alps – An 11-night itinerary on the S.S. Audrey combining Paris and Zurich hotel stays with a Rhine and Moselle River cruise through France, Germany, and Switzerland, featuring hiking, cycling, and gourmet cuisine.
- European Gems – A 14-night, one-date-only cruise on the S.S. Emilie from Amsterdam to Vienna, sailing the Rhine, Main, and Danube Rivers while exploring castles, medieval towns, and European cultural treasures.
- Grand Highlights of the Danube – A 16-night adventure on the S.S. Marlene along the Danube, including 14 nights of sailing, classical music in Vienna, cycling excursions, and visits to historic towns and vineyard-clad hills.
- Castles Along the Rhine & Amsterdam – A nine-night journey from Basel to Amsterdam, expanding the classic Rhine itinerary with two nights in the Dutch capital, canal cruises, and a Rijksmuseum tour.
“2027 is shaping up to be a landmark year for us at Uniworld as we introduce four remarkable new ships to our guests and a range of itineraries that blend cultural immersion, luxury and adventure,” said Ellen Bettridge, president and CEO of Uniworld. “From honoring the timeless elegance of Audrey Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich aboard our newest Super Ships, to exploring the rich landscapes of Singapore and Indonesia with the Aqua Blu, these additions mark an exciting chapter of growth and continued elevation.”
